Our award-winning magazine, beloved annual music issue, podcast, live cultural events, and more are all made possible by supporters like you! 

Subscriptions only cover 12% of the cost to produce the Oxford American magazine; the rest comes from your support. The Oxford American is so much more than a magazine – it provides paid internships, promotes diversity in publishing, pays writers and artists professional rates for their work, and brings the South alive through music and events. Since the OA is a nonprofit organization, your donations are 100% tax-deductible. 

Gifts of all sizes help us to do the critical work of bringing Southern voices to the global stage.

• Donors who join the OA Society at the $100+ level receive a one-year print subscription to the Oxford American, insider Society Scoop emails, and their names featured in the magazine for the following year.  

• Donors who join the OA Society at the $250+ level receive a one-year print subscription to the Oxford American, a gift subscription for a friend a limited edition Texas Love Letter vinyl LP (one per donor), insider Society Scoop emails, and their names featured in the magazine for the following year. 

• Donors who join the OA Society at the $1,000+ level will receive a lifetime print and digital subscription to the Oxford American, a gift subscription for a friend, a limited edition Texas Love Letter vinyl LP (one per donor), exclusive Society Scoop emails, and their names featured in the magazine for the following year. Donors at this level are eligible for advanced ticket sales and special access throughout the year.
