Verónica Dávila Ellis is a post-doctoral fellow in Latinx Studies in Smith College’s Latin American and Latino/a Studies Program. They research, write, and teach about reggaetón and Latinx and Caribbean popular music with a focus on gender, queerness, and sound. They also co-host the transfeminist pop culture podcast The Platanano Diaries.
