Jason Bruner is an associate professor in the School of Historical, Philosophical, and Religious Studies at Arizona State University. His writing has appeared in Religion & Politics, Image Journal, and River Teeth. His second book, Imagining Persecution: Why American Christians Believe There Is a Global War against Their Faith, will be published in 2020.
